About the Founder
Dr. Shalini Yerukala, Ph.D., is a Plant Pathologist, Agricultural Research Scientist, and science leader with international research, leadership, and extension experience in India and the United States.
In December 2025, she founded and established GlobalAgriConnect Network, an independent international nonprofit educational and professional network dedicated to advancing plant health, sustainable agriculture, global scientific collaboration, and evidence-based agricultural solutions.
Her vision is to connect scientists, researchers, educators, students, extension specialists, industry professionals, policymakers, and farmers worldwide to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, promote knowledge exchange, and translate scientific research into practical solutions that improve plant health, strengthen sustainable agriculture, and enhance global food security.
Dr. Yerukala's research interests include plant pathology, biological control, plant disease epidemiology, integrated pest and disease management, crop protection, precision agriculture, plant health diagnostics, and sustainable agricultural systems. Through GlobalAgriConnect Network, she is committed to fostering international scientific collaboration, promoting innovation and education, and developing evidence-based agricultural solutions that improve plant health, strengthen sustainable agriculture, and enhance global food security.
